Facial Services
A Licensed Medical Aesthetician is a skincare specialist trained to provide advanced, non-invasive cosmetic treatments that enhance skin health, correct imperfections, and support overall aesthetic goals. Working in a clinical or medical spa environment—often under the supervision of a medical provider, medical aestheticians bridge the gap between traditional spa facials and clinical dermatology. They possess in-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, cosmetic ingredients, and medical-grade technologies, allowing them to tailor treatments to individual skin types and conditions with safety and efficacy.
Custom Facials
Custom facials are personalized skincare treatments designed to address each client’s unique concerns—ranging from dryness and sensitivity to acne or aging. A medical aesthetician will evaluate your skin type and condition to create a curated facial protocol that may include deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, hydration, and targeted serums. Unlike standard spa facials, medical-grade facials often utilize clinical-strength products and equipment for deeper penetration and longer-lasting results.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation treatment that uses a diamond-tip wand or fine crystals to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells. It helps improve skin texture, tone, and clarity while stimulating collagen production. This treatment is ideal for reducing the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, mild acne scars, and sun damage, leaving the skin smoother and more radiant.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a gentle manual exfoliation technique that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin. The result is immediate smoothness, enhanced product absorption, and a more even tone and texture. This treatment is ideal before events or photoshoots and can be paired with facials or peels for enhanced results.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels involve the application of a solution containing acids (such as glycolic, salicylic, lactic, or trichloroacetic acid) to exfoliate the skin, promote cell turnover, and improve clarity and tone. Licensed medical aestheticians are trained to safely administer light to medium-depth peels, which can treat acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and fine lines. Peels vary in intensity and can be customized based on skin condition, sensitivity, and desired outcome.
Red and Blue LED Light Therapy
LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate skin function at the cellular level.
-
Red light therapy (around 633nm) boosts collagen production, circulation, and healing, making it ideal for aging, inflammation, hair restoration, and post-treatment recovery.
-
Blue light therapy (around 415nm) targets acne-causing bacteria (P. acnes) and helps regulate sebum production, making it effective for managing active breakouts and oily skin.
Both wavelengths can be used individually or in combination, and sessions are painless and require no downtime.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a permanent hair reduction treatment that uses concentrated beams of light to target pigment in the hair follicle, destroying it at the root without damaging surrounding tissue. Medical aestheticians certified in laser technology use FDA-approved devices that are safe and effective for various skin tones and hair types. Common treatment areas include the face, underarms, bikini, back, and legs, with a series of sessions recommended for optimal results.
Electrolysis
Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal. It involves inserting a very fine probe into the hair follicle and delivering a small electric current to destroy the growth center of the hair. Electrolysis is safe for all skin and hair types and is especially useful for shaping eyebrows, treating hormone-sensitive areas, and targeting individual hairs that are resistant to laser treatment. Unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis does not depend on pigment, making it a suitable option for blonde, red, gray, or white hairs.
Plasma Pen Skin Tightening
Advanced Non-Surgical Skin Rejuvenation
The Plasma Pen is an innovative, non-invasive skin tightening treatment designed to address fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and textural concerns—especially in delicate areas where lasers or injectables may not be ideal. Using advanced plasma energy technology, the device delivers a precise micro-arc just above the skin's surface, creating controlled micro-injuries without direct contact. This stimulates the body’s natural healing response, triggering collagen and elastin production while tightening and resurfacing the skin for a smoother, firmer appearance.
Plasma Pen is particularly effective for treating upper and lower eyelid laxity, crow’s feet, lip lines, nasolabial folds, and neck crepiness. It can also be used on acne scars, skin tags, and stretch marks. Most patients notice an improvement within a week as carbon crusts flake away, with full results developing over the next 8–12 weeks as collagen remodeling continues. For many, just one treatment provides noticeable lifting and rejuvenation with results that can last up to three years.
Ideal candidates include individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity and fair to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III). Those with darker skin types may be at greater risk of pigmentation changes and should consult with a qualified provider. Prior to treatment, sun exposure, exfoliating agents, and retinoids should be avoided, and antiviral medication may be prescribed for those with a history of cold sores.
Following the procedure, small carbon crusts form and naturally flake off within 5–10 days. Redness and mild swelling are normal during this period. Patients should avoid makeup, sun exposure, heat, and strenuous activity for several days post-treatment. Once healing is complete, daily SPF is essential to protect the new skin and preserve results.
